Sell-o-phane – A Poem

Sell me sell me sell me

A bottle of acti-freeze

small wrap of nullity

upper-shelf magazine

Sell me sell me sell me

an MP3 a new TV

something glossy

but essentially empty

Sell me sell me sell me

first person shooter

new gaming computer

smartphone commuter

Sell me sell me sell me

intellectual pornography

masturbate my dignity

with satellites remotely

Sell me sell me sell me

relentlessly upgrading

emptily parading

tacitly evading

Sell me sell me sell me

shrink-wrapped personality

buy the book morality

affected smug urbanity

Sell me sell me sell me

as meat at the butchery

well done and still bloody

prostitute with vanity

Cell me CEll me CELL me

    1. FlightsOAMB has summarised it rather brilliantly… sometimes I wish I didn’t see the mess but could numb myself with modernities toys – awareness can be painful. Thanks for the compliment 🙂

You can tell me anything (yes, even that!)
