Misses – A Poem

Have you ever had one of those tumultuous relationships where the love seems to perfectly balance the desire to escape!?

Misses

I push her off the cliff

Seize her hand

Her eyes reflect fear

Soles at right angles

We balance less than a second

Dance insanely, minutely

Goodbye slackens our faces

I collapse to my knees

Then my belly

This dying move becomes our first breath

I am stable like this

She climbs my arm, over me

Stands

Cries

Kicks me in the ribs and over the edge

Grabs my leg

Just got a fresh delicious free meal, while reading your whole blog.
Been coming here for 5 years. Never seen this happen. Never has happened to me.
I was hungry but hungrier for this.
I only buy coffee here, I go where there is no wifi to eat. So, I get to finish reading your pre-fame, today.
I should be doing other things…

You can tell me anything (yes, even that!)
